Why I don't like Harleys!!!

By watching this video you will realize why Harley owners are Harley owners! It's because they wouldn't be able to handle a sport bike, I mean they can hardly handle a Harley! Like forgetting to put the kickstand down or trying to do a wheelie on a Harley! Please the only thing a Harley can do better than other bikes on the planet is to be very loud!!

That video was funny... But that dose not represent all harley riders just the dumb shit riders.

 

That just about sums it up. Now if I could just find out what their compiled blood alcohol levels where averaging, I would know as much about riding as those arrogant dicks.

For the sake of fairness I should say I that I also see numerous idiots on sportbikes, less the attitudes and alcohol of course.

A Hardly Ableson: I love it! That about sums it up. Actually, I do like the V rod, but it seems the majority of the HD owners don't consider them a Harley Davidson owner and ostricise them. Go figure. They finally make a product that has some performance to it and the rank and file doesn't like it, and won't admit it into the club.

Ya but you got to admit when you see a women on a sport bike she isn't 200 lbs and wearing tight clothing to show the rolls!

 

My now good friend, who happens to be an engine builder, has an 883 Harley that will handily smoke any naturally aspirated VFR I have ever seen or heard about, including the one he is currently helping me develop. The guy has worked as a mechanic in GP, built many AMA superbike and supersport engines, built championship winning AFM bikes and can build anything he wants and he chose to embarass liter bikes with an 883, don't be too quick to judge all harley riders.

 

I still love the clip of the two H-D's passing the cage on the dragon and the one disappears into the ditch lmao.

One thing I have noticed is 90% of squids on sport bikes at least wear a decent helmet. HD riders on the other hand depend on their long hair or bandannas to protect their noggin.

My first bike was a cruiser, and if it wasn't for my buddies who rode sport bikes and put enough fear in me to get a full face helmet. Would have followed the path and bought one of those ridiculous half baked helmets.

I'll second that. I've got a couple of friends who ride Harleys, and they're great guys. I've also seen some total and complete idiots on sport-bikes. Some squid died last week here in Little Rock, my bosses daughter witnessed the whole thing. No helmet, t-shirt, jeans, etc, going really fast in heavy traffic, and somehow managed to not see a large SUV that had come to a stop to turn left right in front of him. Head-butted said vehicle and pretty much mashed his head right off. Instant death.

 

Joking aside some of the best riders I know are Harley riders. In my early days on a street bike my only experiance was only yam dirtbikes when i was a kid then the KLR250 military bikes in recon platoon. I got my hands on my cb750 four and was an idiot. My experiance in the military in a certain skill set got me quickly into law enforcement & SWAT. I met some guys, mostly harley owners, that did the motorcyle duty with harley road kings. started riding with them and got schooled! Half of them were Police instuctors on these bikes and showed me alot, about half of them owned HD's and the rest a mixture of gold wings and a few sweet bikes like v-max and brit bikes. They took the time, let me in on the skills and Im alot better for it. I have rode the police road kings and it is a lame dog of a bike made worse with a ton of lights and lidar guns. I would never own one. BUt the skill of these guys made me want to get more serious and not be such a dick when I was on 2 wheels, reguardless of the bike......
