I'm in the process of buying a VFR 750 and I've come across 3 that I'm chewing over. First, a blue 1986 VFR 750 with 32K on the dial in good to great condition for about $1K. It has a Fox Racing Monoshock adjustable coil, CBR front, dynojet, Sprocket Specialists sprockets, and a yoshi exhaust. The second is a '92 with about 36K on the dial and appears to be in good shape for $2.2K And last is a '96 with 54K on the dial in great shape, but missing the side fairings for $2K. I've included some pics of the bikes in question. Help me with my madness! Thanks guys.

Of the 3, the '92 appears to be in stock form and in better shape than the others. Therefore, that's the bike I'd go with. It looks like it was well taken care of as well. Try to get as much history as you can about each bike before deciding. Let us know what you decide!

Well, after countless emails, calls and so forth, the owners of the '86 and '92 wouldn't respond. I guess they sold the bikes and felt they didn't need to bother responding to me. That's fine I guess. On a brighter note, today I found and purchased this beauty for $1800 with only 17K on the dial and in excellent condition. It belonged to a older fireman who purchased a newer one recently. It's not a Viffer, but it will do for now. The quest for a Gen 3 VFR 750 continues.
