Hey all, I'm going crazy while my forks are at the shop getting resealed... I'm having to drive a CAR to work. The only good thing is I get to drink Starbuck's on the way. Anyway, I ordered a couple new toys. I have a K&N air filter coming soon, and also a K&N PC II so probably will have some new how-to's posted before long. I still haven't done the valve adjustment on the littl VF500 if anyone wants to stop by in cali and do it for me btw.

That is an adv to driving your vehicle to work. I've been putting off my valve job too. I know its going to be a pain. How does the little viffer run? Did you get the clutch problem fixed?

Just started a new job since the move to Washington, for one week before I was cleared to to receive my company car I rode the VFR and had a blast taking the back roads. The ride just isn't the same in a Pontiac Grand Prix.

I was also thinking of upgrading my air filter, can't wait to see if you can feel the difference...

FYI...When you install your new k&n filter dont forget to take the rubber gasket out of the groove in the air box.Or your k&n wont fit.You dont need it for the k&n filter.Save it so if you deceide to put the stock one back in.

Also if you ordered that pcII from dynojet get the to map it for the pipe and k&n filter you have on your bike.

It starts great and idles well. I still haven't done the valve adj so I still have the tap/tap. I am working 6 in a row 12hr days so I haven't done any work other than sticking a front brake lever on it... I wanted to ride it to work! :) But the clutch thing wouldn't let me although I think I could do it by shifting into neutral at lights and taking a back way... I just can't ride it with the tappping like that , though.

Yeah, I'm hoping having all 3 aftermarket items will make a difference. I plan on adding the pcII and the filter at the same time to be able to notice the change...
