2004 vfr800 clutch cover problem

Here is the problem: I picked up a project bike, it did not have the clutch cover (right side) installed, however it did have a brand new Honda OEM cover ready to go. Once installed and turned on oil was coming out around the triangular rubber seal with 2 wires at the top of the cover. As I removed the cover I noticed an oil port located behind the cover, on the engine case, near the location of the same rubber seal with 2 wires through it. I looked in the Haynes manual and noticed that some pictures have this port and other do not. Anyone know what this is and why it is not sealing? Local Honda dealer could not be of any help. Thank you.

 

Happen to have a pic? The only place I remember wires going into the case are on the left side, which would be the stator cover. Did you put a gasket on the cover? I also suggest some RTV, at least around the rubber piece.

 

Ok got it.....

It seems I'm missing 2 parts, a plug and a rubber ring, that plugs the oil port causing this issue. Placed the order with the local Honda dealer, should be riding this weekend. Thanks for your help. This is the right side cover, same one you would remove to change the clutch plates.
