I was going to wait and post these pics when the bike was complete but I could not resist the urge. Other than another coat of filler primer and some fine sanding they are ready for paint. I plan to be done with my VFR project in a month or so and I cant wait to hit the road again. Let me know what you think, 5th gen fairings grafted with 600RR lowers!

I don't know, I kinda think they look a little hokey but hey what ever. I think if I were you I would just sell 'em or trade 'em off and go back to stock. As a matter of fact I think I have a stock set I don't need and I could trade you out or something, just trying to help out a brother and all.....

All kidding aside, it looks like you did a very nice job of tying them together. I'm looking forward to seeing 'em painted and installed, don't forget to post up those pics!

love it. Kind reminds me of the fairing on the Supercharged bike done by A&Aperf.

Very similar, I hate to be a copycat but I talked to toro and found out what he used to make his fairings. I made some different cuts and brought it up a little in the rear to my liking. The bike will end up looking very similar to his other than I plan to keep it red.

I like it! The headers on the right side always look out of place to me and this is a nice cover up.

Steven, really nice job, M-D mentioned that your fairing mod. covered up most of the header tubing on the right side, did you make any provisions for reflecting the heat from the fairing,it gets pretty toasty in that area and I wouldnt want to see your work go to ruin! eddie

Yes, after paint I plan on reflective heat tape inside. I have decent clearence from the header but I think it is still to close to not have protection from the radient heat. Thanks!

I have been trying to decide weather or not to de-dumbo? This is a built on a buget bike and I am trying to keep the cost down as much as possible but I think the blinkers have to go! If any of you have any sugestions for small flush mounts with pics I would love to see them! And yes that is a battery from my drill proping the rear up untill I get the proper hardware )
