I need a couple of ideas for placement of two toggles switches I'm going to mount for my Halo Angle Eyes and my LED lights. Want them accessable while riding but not to much out in the open. Was thinking of the front tank bolts but that will get in the way of turning the handle bars. I have the ability to have a mount fab'd at work so that's not an issue. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I've been putting my switches for stuff in those small black plastic panels below clutch and front brake master cyls. It's easy to drill and there is enough clearance underneath for the wires and such.

This is what I have done too. I have my manual fan switch on the left panel and my LED lights switch on the right panel.

Just make sure you drill in the right spot on the right panel. You will want to leave enough room for your switch above the reg/rec. My switch on that side is awfully close to a tight fit above my reg/rec.

hehe yes be careful is right. I was drilling the left side last week with must've been a 1/2" bit. I was trying to be careful and go slow because I knew how those big bits like to grab when the get through. It grabbed alright, and pulled the drill against my trigger finger so the drill went full throttle before I could stop. Whoops. It hit the housing of the front abs unit but fortunately nothing was damaged.

I was also looking there too but wasn't sure if it would be to much of a pain while riding. I will check it out in the morning when I get off. Thanks, will let you all know how it turns out.
