engine vibrations

    Hi there, I have a problem. At about 4000/5000 RPM I get a very bed vibration and Is caming from the engine, I have a 1999 model. I have chek the mounting, and many others things. Anyone got any IDEAS.
    Plaese........ it is very annoing expecially at high speeds.

    there will be some hramonic vibration at about those rpms. but it should not be too bad. did you chsk to make sure the mounting bolts for the bars was tight? how about the bar wieghts (on theend of the bars),are they tight? You could always try heavier bar weights. Not sure what else mught cause excessive vibes except loose mounting hardware.

    Check the plugs to see if you have a fouled plug or a bad wire. Also, check the gas. I have had some bad gas in the past which did this to my bike.
