Hey, I am in NYC and I ride up to Wilton, New Cannan, and Hartford frequently. I also get up to Boston quite a bit and will be headed up to Boston this weekend. Let me know if you get any group rides together or if you are in the NYC area. Happy to host a summer ride in NYC to the beach and doing runs in Long Island where there are better roads and the shore.

84 East and west exit 56 governor st exit
turn left at light then right on james st 3rd on right.

91 north
exit 29 toward I-84 east hart / boston
take exit 90 merge onto CT-2 east river drive
exite 2-E East Hartford
keep left at split and turn left at light
onto govenor st then take 3rd right - James st.

91 south
exit 30 - rt 84 east stay in rt lane and take first exit
left at split on exit - take left at light ( blacksmith lane )
at end take right then first left onto James st.

My cousin and I are going to try and head down to Orange County Choppers sometime this spring / summer, maybe we can combine it with a NYC / Long Island trip too. We went last summer, it was cool. This summer I think my girlfriend might come with me, she is interested in seeing OCC too. I'll put a post out here when we get it set up

 

ok now we need some input on where to ride.

I'm just happy to get out and ride somethinn other that my "to work and back" route, so I'm up for anything. There are some pretty good roads out through Western CT / MA and even up to southern VT, but if anyone has some good roads east of Htfd, we're already there so that could be good too.

 

been hitting up my crew for info seems rt 44 to avon / canton to rt 7 seems to be good ride and can pick up rt 8 from there as well

 

That works for me, I've been out on Rt 8 noth of 44 and it was some pretty good riding. Rt 8 north will take you out through Otis MA, nice roads out that way. If others are good with it, I'm all in.
