Hey I was wondering if anyone has, or knows where I can find a digital copy of the wiring diagram for the 1st gen VF750F?

I'm trying to figure out the wiring for my turn signals and brake light, as they all light up, but don't do anything else. I've got some free connections in the front wiring section as well.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I'm broke and can't afford the manual.

    Thanks guys!

if your turn signals light up and don't blink...then your relay that makes them blink is not working.... you should be able to hear it "clicking" when you switch on your signals(with the bike shut off of course

Yeah, it's weird though, as they were working before on and off, intermittently. It's possible that it just died though. I'll look into it. As it is now, when I flip the switch left or right, the front signal will turn off, and come back on when the cancel is pushed. The back lights don't do anything but light up.

I saw the pix in the photo section, but the resolution is very bad. Has someone them in a bigger resolution?

Perhaps one of you can send me a mail with this pics.

    My problem:
My cables have burned and i didn't know, that the wiring is different between 83 and 84. So i need the wiring diagram that I can perhaps reconnect the one plug who is different.

    Thanks
    andreas

I have a manual and can copy and fax wiring diagram if you have a fax. I may be able to scan it in and send it e-mail. Don't have time right now though. Send me a pm with your phone number and I'll call you if you want.

I modified my lighting circuit to be able to turn off the head light and leave the parking lights on. Also to keep the rears on as parking plus turn signal. Requires front type sockets.

Just reread topic. Mines an 83 manual. Are you sure there is a difference? If there is it must be a minor one. The bar switches are interchangeable.

    Hi GreyCF750F,

    thanks first for your replies.

I think a call to Europe isn't necessery but thanks a lot.

    hi hoobatech,
Thanks also too for the XPS file, do you have one too from the year 84?
In the jpg's of the photos section, I see differences but the quality is too bad.

And you have right, i haven't no probs to open the xps files.
If you need a free pdf writer, you can take this one.

    greetings Andreas

you are really great guys and this is a great forum too.

Thanks really a lot for your help. With this information, I think i can reconnect the wiring of the 84 to a 83.

I wish you free roads & no cops :)
