Hello  I'm new to the forum so here is my proper intro. I just got an 86' VFR 750F. Getting her back to running condition as she has been sitting for a couple years. It is my first bike and I still need to get my license, which should happen shortly. I am from Surrey BC, Canada. I am looking forward to reading all the helpful information on this site and meeting other bike enthusiasts. See you out there. Hoffer
Welcome to the V4 brotherhood! There are lots of helpful people around here who will help you bring her back to glory. Any pics of your new baby? Regards, Rollin

Welcome to the madness. As has been stated, you should get all the help you may need from the good folks hanging out in this forum. We have many members in Canada as well. Just one big, happy family eh.
that was (is) a great bike basically started the vfr movement.. do you have any pics? what needs to be done?...read the almost finished thread that guy knows what hes doing maybe ask him for any help...
Welcome for sure. Check out this thread. http://vfrworld.com/forums/canada-alaska/13110-vancouver-lower-mainland-group-rides.html We have a small following here in the LMD and do get together from time to time for rides. Kingsley and Chomper are great at spearheading local rides. IMHO, take the MC course. It is far faster at getting your endorsement and the training you will get is invaluable. And here in Canada it is tax deductible too.
Thanks Randy. I plan on taking the Pacific Riding School in Surrey. My friend just went there a couple months ago and really enjoyed it and he said he learned allot. Since the bike has been sitting, -I ordered a new battery, drained and cleaned tank, removed and cleaned carbs and fuel pump and filter. Oil change and brake and clutch fluid flush. PS: I posted a new avatar pic.
