Hi. I'm not sure. I have a '07 with ABS. I have really laid on the brakes many times just for fast stop practice. I think a few times the ABS has kicked in as I could kind of hear the motor kick in but I am not sure. I did not feel any buzzing or pulsing like on cages (but maybe it didn't kick in). Even if it does the buzzing or pulsing is nothing to be worried about, it is just the hydraulic pump moving fluid out of the caliper during the pressure decrease cycles.

I don't know, some people don't like the extra weight (I think it adds like 11 lbs or so). I think on a motorcycle it could be very useful to help stop as fast as possible without locking up either wheel.

It should help with any conditions like that, rain, cold, gravel, sand, etc. It is completely passive unless it is needed. I think in some other thread someone was saying maximum traction occurs at about 20% wheel slip.

I have an 07 with ABS, and the only thing I've noticed at all is that I CANNOT lock up the wheels -- and I've tried.

I've used it a couple of times, mostly on purpose except for once :frown:

You don't feel much at all. I "think" I felt a slight buzz somewhere, kinda like a cell phone buried deep in a pocket. I always where gloves with a full face helmet so hearing and feeling is a bit tough. Plus when your locking up the wheels your senses usually shift to the task at hand (not crashing) and you forget the rest.

Go to a wet p-lot and lock up the rear (or try), just make sure the back end is straight before ya let go again.
