As the title states, why is everyone so enthralled with New Enough Motorcycle Apparel sells motorcycle jackets, pants and suits, boots, gloves, helmets, etc :: New Enough, LTD ?

    Is it the sales?

    Is it the customer service?

Mind you, I've never ordered anything from them. Their prices, for the non-sale items, are the exact same as every other website. For example, the boots I'm looking for are listed for $292 on every website I've seen yet. I see when they have sales, they REALLY have sales.

    Anyone NOT recommend them?

    KC-10 FE out...

Probably a little bit of both sales and customer service plus the small family business feel along with the dollar per order that you can donate toward your favorite internet forum. Click here for the about us page.

They tend to buy up discontinued models in bulk and sell them for closeout prices, which can be a good deal...

The donating bit allows the forum to accumulate money which are given out in the form of gift certificates to NewEnough. A little giving back goes a long way...

I've ordered from them a few times and have had very positive experiences. Yes on new current merchandise they are not any cheaper than other places.

On closeout stuff is where some bargains can be had. It seems to me though most closeout stuff is on closeout at all the major online retailers at the same time. Sometimes newenough and probably others buy all the remaining inventory of an item to get a good price and to be the only place with the closeout price.

Customer service is great. I don't actually mind paying a little more when I know that if there is a problem it will be taken care of. I have bought all of my riding gear from New Enough. From boots to gloves and everything in between. When something doesn't quite fit right I know it will be taken care of no questions asked. I like the fact that they do a detailed write-up on all their merchandise, that makes buying sight unseen a little easier too.

I have had good experiences with them, but no different really than motorcyclesuperstore.com or sportbiketrackgear.com- both of them have excellent customer service and prices as well.

90% of my gear came from newenough (and ive got way too much gear). ive had to return a few things, but theyll give you 110% back so that usually cover shipping costs.

Got My Sidi Vertigo's for 215 (us) bucks. Great deal for me, they want over 400 (cdn) here. Less than 2 weeks delivery. I would go back.

To echo, their customer service is great and the 110% back on exchanges allows you to recoup the cost of shipping if you got the wrong size/color. In addition to their closeouts, I have gotten good deals from their Ebay auctions.

I've had several orders with them as well. I would definitely include them in a search for what you're looking for.......... fair prices as well as great service. (I just picked up a set of the Sidi Verigo's too.............. )

I'm on their email list and get 1 to 2 emails a week on their latest sale items. Can't beat their sales that's for sure. Some of the stuff is useless squidwear but every now and then they have quality useful protective gear at an unbeatable price. My local shop price matches so Newenough can be a good resource to get a good price from the dealer and keep them in business.

ONLY two reasons I ever buy from them are the closeout prices they have on some gear and the great staff written descriptions and sizing comparos(even then I use it more for research and order from whoever has the best price). When stuff goes on closeout from them, it's a steal. Otherwise like you said...regular prices aren't special...and they're not super fast with shipping unless the item says "same day" other wise it's rather slow or else everything drop ships from suppliers and you pay multiple shipping charges. F*ck that.

Customer Service is suppose to be good I guess..never needed it if you do your research and/or trying stuff on at local retailers.

In case anyone didn't know, motorcyclesuperstore.com has all fieldsheer stuff on sale right now for 50% off or so and they sent me a booklet that gives $20 off orders over $200 (use coupon code c409ctlg20) and $5 off anything over $100 (c409ctlg5)

New Enough has Excellent customer service, great selection, prices and wonderful closeout section. What I like most about New Enough is they get you your stuff fast (yeah the courier delivers it), but they do a good job when compared to SOME others. One of my favorites, but not the only vendor I use.

The last time I checked they were one of the very few mail order companies
that would accept returns on close-out items. Thats a big plus if you order the wrong size.

Hey Gears the return on a closeout item is a big plus. I did not know they did that since I have not had to return anything so far. Good info

I recently just placed my first order from New Enough. This is my first order "ever" on-line for motorcycle gear.

I ordered from them based on the following reasons:

    1. The generally positive feedback from this forum.
    2. New Enough's prices.
    3. The comparisons, photos and editor's notes that are included throughout their website.
    4. I also called them to chat about some items, and they were very polite and helpful.

The biggest item to me was #3 above. I found that information really useful. Many of the other sites has a brief description, or one or 2 pictures. That helps, but New Enough was far and away better in their descriptions.

Could I have used New Enough's descriptions and then gone elsewhere looking for better price? Sure. But they worked hard to do what they did, and I for one appreciate it, so I'll give them my business. I don't want to be foolish with my money and spend it haphazardly, but even if New Enough was a few bucks more for the items I was looking at, it seemed trivial compared to all the other benefits I was getting.

I placed my order late on Friday, APril 10th (maybe 6pm in the evening, so not sure if that would allow sufficient time to prepare my order and get it shipped). Also don't know if they ship on weekends. But I received my boots and gloves yesterday, which I thought was reasonable. I'm hoping/assuming my pants and pads will arrive today.

I ordered about $370 worth of merchandise, and shipping (after the allowance provided by New Enough) was like $14. Yes, I know there are place that ship for free, but my point is, for $14, I got it all from one place. I'm OK with that.

I won't give a product review here on the boots and gloves, but I will say that the descriptions and/or photos on New Enoughs website were pretty damn accurate.

I've been real happy so far with them. I can't tell you if they're the best place to order from, but there is no doubt I'd order from them again.

Their return policy is the main reason I order most my stuff through them. After the awful experience I went through with Exoticbike.com that's something I definitely keep in mind.

Ive bought 2 jackets form them and have been extremely satisfied. To echo others comments, great prices on closeout/bargin basement buys(thats all I look at), The best photos and descriptions of any online cycle store out there, fantasitic retun policy and great customer service, as well fast shipping on most items. Highly recommend these guys.

Here is one of my positive experiences with New Enough. I purchased two sets of gloves from them delivered to my post office box. The package was too big to fit into my box so it was put into one of the large parcel lock boxes in the lobby. Unfortunately the lobby boxes were broken into and my package happend to be one of the items stolen.

I contacted New Enough to order another two pairs and mentioned my delima. They offered to send the gloves to me for free and they would persue the claim with the post office. I didn't feel that was fair so I declined their offer. Unfortunately I never did get compensation as the post office "lost" my claim.

Just for New Enough to offer that was simply amazing to me. Again this is just one of several positive customer service experiences I have had with them.
