"New" Bike and 1st Ride!

Hello Everyone,

I just thought I would start a post as a new member as well as a new VFR owner.

I purchased my 5th gen VFR this weekend and took it on a 3 hr drive home from Calgary to Edmonton. The first half of the trip was beautiful with the mountains in the distance and sunny skies.

The last 1/2 of the trip was not so nice as a spring storm came in and made the last hour of driving quite engaging. I got home wet and cold however I still had a smile on my face. The VFR was great and very comfortable. The rain tested the electronics and there were no problems. The only sad thing is that it began snowing last nigt and it will be a few days before I can ride again. The VFR also needs a good wash.

P.S. This bike had such low Km's (4000!) that I couldnt pass it up. I hope to put on a few more by the end of the riding season. As it stands there is a Dawson City trip planned for the summer.
