Hi Everyone. I just registered today because I´m picking up my 99 red viffer tomorrow(well 99% sure about the deal, good price, low miles and in great condition, according to the original owner of the bike). I moved to Maine from Finland about a month ago and decided I would tour a bit around the east coast maybe all the way to down to Florida. So I need to get the bike set-up for long hauls. Saddlebags, topbox ect., I will post a WANTED ad for that. Well anyway I´m happy to have found your forum, It will most likely be of great value in information. I will try my best to do my part also. Cheers!

Okay, I see how that can be confusing VFRAndy. Andy comes from Anders. Thanks!

Well, picked up my viffer. This thing is unbelievable! I had a 2004 600 f4i back in Finland, but boy does this thing ROCK compared to that. Just got to get it cleaned up and those horrific grips changed.

Welcome, Andy. Great looking bike. I think you'll like touring on the VFR, but you might want to consider a Sargent seat. That made a real difference for me.
