I think the video might be a little deceiving. I think I might have hit 45mph top speed. The pass was just an inspection. Since we were so close we figured we might as well make a pass. As you can see we are for the most part barely passing the cars along the way. But keep in mind that its never about being slow or being fast. Its all about having a good idea and making home on your own bike at the end of the day. I have ridden with some people on this board and they are all good riders that ride their own ride. I'm hoping this season we can get our little vfr crew out for some good rides this season! Again, hope to see you out sometime soon!!

I would really like to hear your impression of the cali sportbike school. I don't in think I have meet anyone that has taken their school. I'm going to try and sign up for cornerspeed sometime this season and hopefully get in some nesba days in. You should differently post up your experience with the course once you are done!

As for the wheelie action. That was not me. I'm a big puss when it comes to wheelies. If it were a 6th gen I would have bet it was Hotbrakes. Not that I have seen him almost drag the center bag on the ground on his bike or anything

That's fine, as long as they can keep up.

Sweet vid Titanium. Was that your new leathers? The roads are all clear in the south. We were running full speed during the heat of the day with no problems.

And that wasn't me doing a wheelie. I'm very selective about where I do them and around cities is definitely not a good place.

Lets see some pics Topspin! Welcome aboard. I'm in class all summer up there so we'll all have to get out for some evening rides once the weather gets better.

yea I was sporting the new leathers. I was even wearing my new to me Knox back protector. I'm really glad I invested in the leathers. I love the fit and finish. Everything just seems more natural on the bike now with the leathers on. Can't wait to get on the track and really learn how to ride. Right now I feel like I'm just winging it!

Larkin- I really hoping I can link up with you and head done south. I'm really disappointed I couldn't make this last trip you had. The pictures looked awesome!!

    I feel naked without mine.

Let's go Titanium! Next weekend is no good for me but maybe the week after?

BP-You're a great rider. Get some real protection and you won't feel as restricted. Practice practice practice...

I am between two companies. Both offer custom suits. Since I am short legged for my height, I will need these. I have to send email to the sites tomorrow asking them a few questions. I will let you know.

dcsportbike.net is trying to put together a group order with Spartan Leathers. I would have been on the list if I hadn't already ordered the A* suit.

Larkin- I'm totally down for it. Let me know when and where. Be sure to give me some notice and I need to set it with the wifey.

It's hard to plan good rides in advance right now with the forecast changing so much. This Sunday's forecast keeps getting better and better. They're saying 62 and cloudy, maybe a local ride?

Dude! That was a great video! Is it bad that I could tell what roads you were on? Hehe. Countyline Church and Edgehill Academy. I've ridden them once or twice. After seeing yours and Titanium's vids I gotta get a camera! Can't wait to see how you mounted it and what it is. The music was perfect. This will be great for our rides.
That suit is sweet too. I hope the weather is decent Sunday so we can get out!

GoPro Motorsports Hero Wide video camera - cheap! - 13x Forums

it comes with a really strong suction cup mount that works relatively flat fairings. it comes with other mounts too. i like it so far, its good for the price.

HB, just like you said, im liking edgehill more every time i ride it. its amazing how good the road quality is for something thats barely on the map

Hey what do you guys think about the aerostitch suits? They are expensive and I know leather probably protects better, but I'd probably wear the aerostitch more than if I had leathers. They are probably better for all day rides and touring, which is what I see myself doing more so than going to the track. You can even wear them to track day schools generally, so long as you are not racing. I need to decide soon as I can can put the $150 I was going to spend on renting leathers for my upcoming track school towards an $800 aerostitch I can keep for years. I could also put it towards a set of leathers as well I suppose, but I think my preference is the aerostitch. What do you all think?
