Dang!! I wish I could have gone, but the pavement thought otherwise. Glad everyone had a blast, and I hope to make it for SLO IV.

I wish I could've backed you up. Those cats with their fancy fuel-injection are a wiley bunch. I wonder though, how many of them have experienced the race inspired control of the TRAC anti-dive fork. It was fun tryin' to keep them in sight on Hwy 1. I thought they were trying ditch me and my little 700. Turns out that they were just putting heavy emphasis on the sport part of sport/touring. Good stuff.

To answer your question I live in San Luis. Was only able to make it out for a few hours Saturday. Maybe I'll catch you next time. We can swap stories about trying to find a good set of tires for a 16"/18" wheel combo.

Well folks. Left victorville at 08:30. Perfect timing too. Any sooner or later and I would not have had the opoortunity to meet one of your fine state employees at the side of the road near Willows Ca. A fine man he was too. You will all be happy to hear that due to my Diplomatic Imunity, will will be making a suitable donation to the American Red Cross in lieu of your state coffers. And it was all your fault Reggie. I was looking at my broken windscreen instead of my speedo. You forgot to advise me again on Sunday morning to ride my own ride.

BTW folks. As per Reggie's new Avatar. He has been sworn in as the first Commissioner of the RCMP...Randy's Crazy Motor Police. He will be in charge of my new Federal Police force for the UFRR. It is a one man force and the commisioner will spend the majority of his time out of country infiltrating BOI's Bikers of Interest.

The ride from Victorville to Redding was absolutely wild. Was being blown all over the road. Prolly should have slown down. Was doing about 80 - 90 most the way...until Willows anyways.

Gotta go. Have a cold beer waiting for me in my room at eh Best Western here. Will post what few pix I have when I get home.

Ride safer than me everyone.
