Anyone have an analog voltmeter mounted on their 3rd or 4th Gen? I'd like to see some pictures of some mounted to get an idea of a good place. So far, I haven't come up with anything except going with a digital meter.

One of the Honda outboard volt meters would match well if I can find a place to put one!

There's got to be a 90-97 VFR out there somewhere with an analog voltmeter!

I've got a 1-1/2" diameter analog voltmeter mounted on my 5th Gen. Will a pic of that help?

That's right, I forgot the 3rd Gen had the spot molded in the fairing. It looks like my only option for an analog meter is to cut a hole in the fairing.

Have you thought about something like this:

    BackOFF Voltage Monitor

I have this installed on my 4th gen. I went under the front dash panel and took out the light for the side stand. I replaced it with this LED. It is bright enough that you can see the different colors through the amber lens. I wasn't real fond of drilling holes in the fairing or dash panel. The function of the side stand down kill switch still works, just don't have a light for it. I think you could come up with something that would be much cleaner looking than an analog gauge imo....

Thanks for the suggestion. I considered an LED meter similar to what you have but prefer numerical readouts. Since I don't want to cut a hole in the fairing, it looks like I'll end up w/ a digital panel meter.
