Reggie's Roadhouse Roundup Part III -April 3rd-5th, 2009

I will say this REG, My 2 year old now has afavorite word. It starts with the letter "F" . I was listening to the feed on an ear bud so the noisy wouldn't disrupt the "Wiggles"(the aussies know who these guys are) the baby was on my lap. I only had one in so I could hjold a converation with the GF..... the baby picked up the other one and had it in her ear right about the time you dropped about 5 "F" bombs right in a row....... I was trying not to laugh when she dropped a few herself.... its all good though. the bike will look 100 percent better next time.

Oh one more thing....did anybody get sharpied? there has been no evidence or admittance to this happening.

 

The sharpie was quiet this weekend. We were fairly subdued until most folks went to bed and a few of us tried to finish off the last keg. We even woke Toe Cutter back up to help us out.

 

I was stunned that I didn't even see a CHP till I got to Salinas, so the pace was a little higher than I anticipated, even going through San Jose everybody was doing 80-85 so I would just get in the middle a the cagers so not to stand out, the Washington boyz would be blown away at the pace you can run on the freeways in California, only place I hit traffic was about two miles before the San Rafael bridge, and thanks to Silver Surfer lane splitting lesson, I went through the bumper to bumper traffic in about 5 minutes.

 

OK, so...
Wed night I packed the bike all up and got her ready to roll bright and early Thurs am.


After stopping a couple times to meet new people and risk my life with them in the wind and traffic on I 5, have lunch with sixweeds, and rebuild Brooks' bike...


We made it to reg's and looked around the lot at the rest of the bikes.


Then we rode some. Had a few beers. Chris fell asleep in the coffin.


Then we hugged and rode home.

the only thing that got sharpied on were the cups we drank our beer. we all had a blast we forgot about the sharpie!:thumbsup:

Reg thanks for putting up the live feed link. Those of us that couldn't be there got some good laughs and a glimpse of what we were missing. Thanks to those that have posted pics. There are some awesome views in there.

 

They prolly heard there was some gang meeting going on and wanted to keep an eye on things. Good thing we kept the sharpie at bay, we could've ended up in jail!

 

Just wanted to say it was good to get in a brief ride with y'all. Nice to meet those of you that I met and I hope to meet the rest of you in the future. Next time I'll have my s%#t together and do a better job of representing the carbureted, bias-ply tired, doubled-sided swingarm generations. It was brief but fun.
