This is me holding up long's bike. Maybe i should have taken this moment to teach him how to put it on the side stand, as he could have used this knowledge later on...

Lastly, my MacGyver job to make sure I got home with my saddle bags still attached. (see previous postings from Thursday night). Little did I know, my biggest headache would come from my battery/charging system...

I lied. This is the last pic. This is chris aka otherbubba sleeping in the coffin. Yes, he did sleep in there the whole weekend. Who knew we would wind up with a resident friendly zombie?

We had to remind Chris DO NOT LOOK AT THE OCEAN while cornering down the goat trail.

The radios worked really well, there were 6 of us that had them. It helped us all stay together and when used used properly, gave us heads up on oncoming PO POs.

I also figured out that if I ride Reggie's Driveway about 8-10 more times I might be able to make it to the middle of the pack. At this rate that will be in 2016.

No no, You go on ahead. I am riding sweep. Yeah, that's the ticket! I'm riding sweep.

yeah, i guess we can let you guys slide on the trailering thing since you both ride such pristine shiny bikes. reminded me of a couple shiny harleys on there. did you stop and drink beers and pat each other on the back about your chrome!
Maybe I can measure it out for him and he can have a cloned coffin for there and one for here.
That's one of the great things about a real face-to-face meet as opposed to the virtual kind. I hope to meet even more VFRW members as I ride across the country. Hell, maybe on my Scout II journey I'll meet a few in Aug. What say you? Any members along the MO-KS-CO-UT-NV-CA route wanna volunteer to ride to meet me and my cousin as we trudge along the highway in an antique beat up Scout II avging speeds of 55mph? haha...
you are certainly welcome. We have a great time doing it.

The smell of the bikers is not nearly as bad as the smells I was putting out after all that beer and beans. My digestive system is getting closer to be normal now...

You are lucky you didn't get an award at that kind of speed Rick! Oh, and thanks for the shoes! What should I do with them? Put them out on the back porch for your next visit? I guess you know we expect your sorry ass to show up more often now that you know the way. Also, I should be up in the bay area before long. I have some friends that I haven't stopped by to see lately.

Hell he is already in the chat box. Probably working on the tiger thread now...

John and Chris are already hooked up. What a great couple of guys. I am glad they found VFRWorld just before the meetup. I have a feeling we'll see them around here from time to time. Can't wait for the Harley guy story! Man I wish we had a pic of that!

To all of you I want to say thanks for coming and having a good time with us. These things wouldn't work out if everyone who came didn't make an effort to get along with new people. No fistfights broke out and there were probably only minor bruising to one's feelings from all the good natured ribbing. Sometimes I can be a little rough with my kidding and I hope I didn't hurt anyone's feeling when I got drunk and loud. If so, I sincerely apologize, and I wouldn't aggravate you if I didn't like you.

I wonder where Randy is today? He sure is a great guy. I hope to hear from him again soon. He said he is already looking forward to the next meetup.

Ok, no more bad references about the trailer. We did stare at the bikes on the review mirror a lot. If that counts. We sat on the trailer and ate some lunch and numerous people came over and asked us about our lovely bikes.

I've already paid my dues with as much as 13 hours on the bike in one stretch so I have nothing to prove...
