Just got back from a 100+ mile test ride with my new HJC FS-15 Carbon Fiber helmet. I am truly impressed with this helmet! First, it is wonderfully light weight. No strain at all on my neck and completely stable at speed. Second, it seems very quiet. I always ride with earplugs anyway, but it was noticeably quieter than any helmet I have ever worn. Finally, the fit and finish are beautiful and the ventilation works well. First impression of this helmet is totally positive! I give it !

I like the way HJC fits my noggin, but my biggest issue with them (personally) has been the amount of wind noise. Its the one thing that keeps me away from them.

So, can I be nosy and ask what this went for?

I purchased the standard black carbon fiber FS-15 about a month ago and I find it is lighter then my Shoei but there is more my wind noise to me. I still love it anyway. It goes great with my Asphalt colored bike.

I am coming from a $60 HJC so to me I am sure it will be uber quite. Even my friends scorpion was light years ahead as far as wind suppression goes... With live.com cashback this helmet is going for about $250 shipped I think I am going to get it :)

1 put helmet on first then slide glasses in.

2 take glasses off then take helmet off.
