Welcome Meachie, and hey Musashi, havn't seen you around in awhile. I guess after the winter that never was, we're now finding ourselves unable to ride. Sucks, I just picked up some new boots and some alpinestar pants thinking I'ld be able to quickly break them in.
We got our Thurs. blizzard the day after I bought them. So the snow may be my fault.

I would love to have as large a group as possible go for a spring cristening ride as soon as all this crap is off the streets. Maybe we could start looking at some good dates for everyone sometime around the end of April or beginning of May.

I'm in as well. Looking forward to some consistent warm weather, and getting up into the higher elevations. I'm still a newbie to the motorcycle world, but have put 3000 miles on since I got my bike in November. It will be great to ride with other VFR's.

Longmont here. Throwing my name into the "local" hat who wouldn't mind going for a ride sometime.

Hello all, well it finally looks like we should be getting some consistantly good weather and I was thinking that a group ride might finally be doable. The weekend of 5/15 or 5/16 should be a good one, right between Mothers day weekend and Memorial day weekend.

If that works for anyone or everyone than let's get togather, I would love to see some other VFR's. If other dates are better just post something, I'm self-employed so anytime works for me.

    Have a good one!!

Take 285 out of Denver SW.and follow to 126 SE (left).(This is my fav.) It's called,Pine junction, through Pine, and Deckers. All the way to Colorado Springs, and then I return on the same road to Denver.Or you can shoot up I- 25 if it wore you out.Boring........Just in case some of you don't know this route, thought I'd give it up.... Havcar - that sounds great. I am definitely in, and Saturday would work the best for me. Looking forward to meeting some other VFR riders, and getting a weekend with some sunshine!

I could probably make that. Meet in Golden or something (Heritage Square?) and hop straight onto 285?

Good deal, Sat. the 16th it is! It looks like we're kind of scattered around so maybe we could all figure out a somewhat central location to meet. Golden/Morrison is fine with me for the Deckers/Evergreen ride or Boulder if we wanted to do Goldengate/Big Thompson. I'm open to all suggestions. Maybe the early crowd could meet for breakfast and give the later risers and those traveling a bit further some time to get there?

Hope to see all of you very soon!!!

The 16th at what time then? Maybe I can make it...
It is always easy to meet at the gas station there on the Morrison exit off C-470, fuel up and go. Anybody checked the road conditions on 285 lately?

I just got done doing the canyon from Morrison to Evergreen and cut through Indian Hills to 285 then up to Conifer and turned around on 285 back to the city. All is good, a scosh of light sand on that short run to 285 from Evergreen everything else was spotless.

That Shell station at C-470 and the Morrison exit works for me if everyone else is good with it.

I basically did the same run last night, 285 to Turkey Creek, the Deer Creek, and only came across 1 turn with some sand down. All in all, a great commute (the long way home).

Man! I would love to ride with you all but I have to work that weekend. Ugh. The season is just starting though; I'm sure I'll get a chance to ride with you all soon. It would be awesome to get all of the viffer riders on here on a ride/trip/bbq or something.

Hey, is there anyone here in Denver that would like one of the Chatterbox Xbi2 systems? They are the newest ones that can Bluetooth two devices and pair up to three riders for about 500 meters (over 1500 yards). They retail for $279, sell at the cheapest on ebay for $195 plus shipping. My buddy and I along with a few others are buying some off an ebay powerseller for $180 shipped.

If anyone here in the Denver area or Colorado area want some, let me know and we can work out a paypal and pick up/shipping thing. PM me. I'll place the order next Friday.

Does 10am on the 16th at the Shell station on c-470 and Morrison sound good for everyone. Earlier, maybe 8:30 or 9am in Morrison for anyone wanting to grab breakfast?

Send me a PM or email. I'm in Longmont and we could ride down to the meeting point together. It's going to be a ride to start the ride. Right now I'm not all gung-ho, but tomorrow morning that can all change.
