I don't know about anyone else but I hate wires blowing in the wind.
So I picked up a cheap MP3 player that I could use w/ gloves on and velco'd it to my helmet.
tools X-acto set w/ saw to mod headphones.
I also did this to my old Shoie a few years ago and just have to cut out some material to fit headset in.

Great work. I also liek to listen to music while I ride, but I hate that the ear buds I use constantly fall out of my ears while riding, usually from the wire getting tugged from turning my head. I might have to work something like this up.

I use a cheap MP3 player with in-helmet speakers (made for a set of "behind the head" headphones). I have considered velcroing to my helmet as well, but for know I have the MP3 player in my pocket...this allows me to change the preset on the FM tuner so I can listen to the radio for my commute.

I use a Scala rider witht the built in radio. For mp3 I use an FM transmitter connected to the player tuned to an empty channel. Tune the Scala to the empy channel and away you go.

I know, more expensive but works like a charm, no wires and the cell phone calls override the music.
