They also make a header for the 5th gen. I wonder if it would fit on a 6th gen as well. I seem to remember reading that a 98-99 OEM header will fit on a 6th gen, thus eliminating the cat and cutting a lot of weight and flow restriction. Any thoughts???? Ride safe.

There is a US distributor that sells on Ebay, I emailed him and he says they also have the stubby version in Titainum. I think it is $200 plus 25 shipping. I'm waiting to here more from AnUnknown1 about fit and finish. I sure would like to here his sound bites.

The pipe looks nice from what I can tell in the photos. The length seems good. That would be the only complaint I have with Staintune. The simply don't have the visual appeal of an oval CF pipe.

I wouldn't ride the bike without the clamp that holds the muffler to the mid-pipe. From the pics it seems it only came with the muffler band & the collector clamp? That appears to me a that a part is missing since every 5th Gen pipe I've ever seen comes with one.

Nicely done, I would say you got the deal of the year for a brand new motorcycle muffler.

+1 on uploading the vid to YouTube.

    KC-10 FE out...

OK OK I finally got it all figuredc out hope you all like it, although im not all that impressed with the sound quality. If you have any suggestions on improving it i would be willing to redo it.

    1) With The exhaust plug In

    http://http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yYJQRbomS0E

    2) With the Exhaust plug out. Not as obnoxious as you would think.

    http://http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H6vLOLsyTqM

Now i have added another exhaust clamp, and i agreed with you KC. It seemed to be missing. But with a little modification of the stock clamp i now have 2 proper clamps on the bike as it should have. It is nice and solid, and i think sounds a bit cleaner this time around. I will see what i can do about adding another sound clip. But i would like to try getting it a different way. I think i will attempt it with the video camera instead of the digital camera. Dispite the digital camera having a decent ability to capture it doesnt seem to do very well with audio. Well hope this helps everyone. Although now having everything set up, even the wife thinks we should have gone with the stubby exhaust to help show off the rear wheel a bit more. But we erred on the side of caution, i didnt want something super loud for droning reasons. But with the spud out of the pipe it is still quite reasonable at speed. So i may leave it out full time even on long cross country rides. Thanks to all of you for being so patient. If your in the market for a new exhaust, this one is one hell of a deal! The sound at idle is nice, and at speed isnt too loud, the price is screaming, and there are still several options available. Just email them @ mailto:ebay@delkevic.us, or call them @ (303) 962-2739.

FYI you've got one too many "http://" in your link but I still got it to work.

Sounds pretty good to me... looking forward to your next clip with both clamps installed on it. Would it be possible to move the camera to a location facing the exhaust outlet? Just trying to get the best idea of the sound. Seems to sound like two bros or a quieter d&d(hard to tell the decibel level from the video though). Thanks for the uploads!

Yea, i'll give that a try, and i will again use the same camera. But i will have the wife move to the rear of the bike so maybe we can get a crisper sound from it. Once the kids get up from their nap i will take another sample. Im glad you like it, the wife loved the new sound. May even get one for her Bandit 600.

What about the center stand stop? Does the center stand now hit the new midpipe? or does it rest on something else?

Check out the pictures more closely. The new mid pipe looks like it comes with a fixture welded on that accepts the stock rubber bumper just like the Staintune kits do.

Spoke to the sellers today in Colorado. They are out of the Stainless Stubby (350mm as opposed to 450 for the standard) will be getting some in in 10 days. They have the Titainum Stubby but it is blue in the back. The salesperson advised that they have a solid color Titainum in the works but it is at least a couple of months out.

Ordered and received the Titanium Stubby. Sounds good but it's raining so I'll have to wait until it stops to try it out. The kit is still missing a clamp (I modified the stock clamp to work) even though I asked for an additional clamp when I ordered the pipe they didn't respond. I would have paid extra for it. It's my only complaint I really like it's looks.

So far I love my Stubby Titanium. The only issues with it was that they only sent one clamp (stock clamp is too big due to the double wall honda pipe) They sent me another clamp but it was too small. Went to my local Kawa dealer and they gave me one. Love the pipe fits well (with extra clamp) and isn't too loud. The ebay seller now ays that they provide two clamps with the unit.

Sorry guys, life interjected ALOT. Daughter got sik, then had a birthday. Work Work work. So, this weekend i will make an attempt to re-record the pipe again. wasmeneh- the centerstand rests using the stock rubber stop, i transferred from the old pipe. And i also had the same problem you ran into which is why i modified the stock clamp. Figured it was easier for me than running around town which was proving fruitless. Funny they said they always ship with 2, cause if you look at my pics, i only got one. Had the chance to ride a bit with it. The wife says the sound isnt really super noticable to another bike at speed and the other guy we rode with said it wasnt overly loud. So i am happy with the product. Had to do over again, i'd do the stubby. I will be going to a local pipe shop to see if we can bend a different pipe to get it more of a high mount set up. So i'll let you know how that goes. Dont know how much more riding i'll get to do seeing as how its hittin tripple digits here in VEGAS, but i will be at Laguna Seca for the moto GP races on July 4th! Happy riding all.

I'm also seriously considering pulling the trigger on one of this. You can't beat that price!! But I'm still confused about the missing clamp. Did you only receive the clamp to connect the silencer to the link pipe or the clamp from the linkpipe to the down pipe? Why can't you use the stock clamp for the linkpipe to the downpipe!?

Anway, I emailed them direct to try and clarify this issue and this is the response I got:

So my understanding is that they supply the clamp from the silencer to the linkpipe but not linkpipe to downpipe. Perhaps you are supposed (or they intend you to use) the stock clamp!?

    Can anyone clarify this!?!

The stock Honda clamp from the header pipe to the stock muffler is too large to fit the aftermarket up (connector to header pipe) Honda pipes are two wall therefore thicker and the stock clamp is too large.

If they will send you clamps instead of one that is what you need. I altered the original Hond Clamp but it didn't work too well. I got another clamp from a local shop and still had to alter it a little.

They need to send you two clamps.

They sent me a second clamp after I complained but the one they sent too small.

    I hope this helps.

    Mike

    BTW

I do love the pipe, I got the stubby Titainium.

So what I really need to do is stress that I want 2 clamps and both have to fit

Being in mainland Europe it might be easier to chase them up if they do send the wrong one

If anyone else is interested in getting maybe we could try and get a group discount!?! I've no problem contacting them and asking nicely
