am moding the my 07 vfr . have installed a k&n filter , pc 3 and remus cans, as well as other bits, but what i really want to do is remove the re foot pegs, does anyone know of a company that makes a hanger for the rebound control or knows of a way of screwing it back to the frame . thsnks in advance , pazzo levers are on the way as well as puig hanger for the no plate and some ajustable pegs from thurn motorsports in germany, but i degress. o yes will get it custom mapped to smooth out the fueling further, !! which will make trounching those 600's even easier and make staying with the litres possible for a little longer, ..:biggrin::thumbsup:

I've wanted to do the same thing, i.e. remove the rear pegs. But I have the rebound adjustment knob/mechanism problem too. I'm interested to see what solutions folks came up with who have done this.

I have seen zip ties, hose clamps, and one machine fabricated from aluminum block. I guess it all depends on your budget and connections. The next step would be to figure out if you are going to just cut the rear pegs off and leave part of the mount or are you going to remove the entire assembly and start from scratch.

So, I wanted to do it for a long time. Finally did. Used a piece of aluminum I had from a previous project to fab a bracket to mount the adjustment knob. I'll take a picture and post. Nothing spectacular. Just made a straight bracket and painted it flat black. I like the look of no rear footpegs a lot. Shows off the single-sided swingarm more.

Yes, please post up a pic when you get a chance. I've been wanting to get rid of my passenger pegs too.

Here we go... as promised, nothing spectacular. Helps show off the wrapped pipes better too. The third pic has nothing to do with the pegs... i just like it

The bolts used to hold on the footpegs are M8 x 1.25. I bought 4... two for this side and 2 for the left side just so I didn't have 2 threaded holes telling people I took something off and didn't put it back on :) You can't reuse the stock bolts w/o using the stock pegs.
