Does anyone have a pair of EXL saddlebags on a 4th GEN?

A friend has a pair on a VFR1000, and they have held up pretty well.
They are low cost, decent quality bags and I am curious if they stay far enough away from a stock muffler.

    Thanks

    Update

Well, I bought these bags 2 weeks ago right before a weekend trip from Boston to DC. Not exactly a nice ride OR destination, but that's another topic. For ~$75 including shipping, I think these are well worth it. They are well constructed and just the right size for the bike. There are three adjustable straps between the bags for mounting, and a useless elastic strap at the bottom of each bag for more securing, I guess. I wouldn't want elastic, and they do not help on the VFR. To keep the rear of the bags high enough (off the muffler and far away from the wheel), I put the rear strap over the passenger grab handles. I also used string to tie the front of the bags to the eye in each passenger foot peg mount. With the bags completely stuffed, they didn't move an inch during the ride and were easy to take off since all I did was untie the string I added. They are expandable, but that wasn't necessary for a short weekend trip. The extra space will probably come in handy riding from Houston to San Diego in June and then up to Seattle. In the pictures you can see the right bag touching the muffler. With the stock muffler, the 2" strip of the bag in contact was not even warm to the touch at gas stops. I'll probably turn the bags around the way they are supposed to go for the next trip, but no riding for a while as my arm is in a sling for 4wks after shoulder surgery. I can't remember why I decided to mount them facing that way.

Thanks for write up, I've seen those listed places but never read much about their fit and quality.
