Ha ha matt, I hope you're not the navigator in your trucking biz!!! :lol: I'll see you there. It's an easy place to find it's whatever's left of a cafe and there's a gas station about 100 feet away for a quick fill-up.

Gonna be a little chilly though so wear pants/sweaters underneath.

Well I am finally back home. I enjoyed the ride but damn, next time it better be warmer! The whole day was barely warm enough (40s) for a ride.

I got to enjoy a VFR buffet of sorts in that I rode mtlovesst's 6th gen VFR and Matt's '86 VFR. I would've like to also ride iwantmore's 3rd gen bike but ran out of time. Those 6th gen vfrs are very smooth, almost like a gentleman's sportbike. It makes my 5th gen bike almost look like a harley because my bike has all sorts of vibrations, noise, and whine.

Matt's '86 bike is quite a blast to ride because it's very light but still has some usable power.

Matt, thanks for showing us some great roads, I like exploring and experiencing new roads. That one you showed us on route 76 up in the chattaoochee park area is awesome! iwantmore, good thing you made it alive, your wife should be pleased

 

its was really fun. but i did come to relize im not as crazy as i used to be. one curve screwed me up and i never got over it. i want to thank my wing man mike he never let me get to far behide.

 

good ride guys!, i know we were missing a bunch of guys that said the were coming if you guys are up to it again i would like to do it again, not this weekend but next weekend the 10 & 11, what do you guys think??

 

I had a great time riding with you guys Sunday too! I traded bikes with everyone which was a treat! I'm glad to hear Joey say nice things about my Gen 6 - I found your post in 2007 that said "Friends don't let friends drive V-Tec". I'm glad you finally got to ride a V-Tec! I really liked the gear whine in your 98 - sounds sort-of like a supercharger. Ton's of power too.

 

I've got a friend coming down from Virginia Beach and we're planning to ride on Friday the 10th. That's Good Friday in case no one realizes it. So weather permitting we'll be heading to Clayton sometime Friday morning. What routes did you cover last time?

 

Next time we must STOP and take more pictures! We go 80 around the curves and blow past the scenic overlooks! Here are the only 2 from our March 29 trip:

Mike, yeah next time we'll take some stops for nice pictures. Have you heard of Cherohala Skyway? That's a great route for awesome scenery and pictures. Believe it or not I actually slowed down and stopped to take some pictures. Here are some from that route:
