    Hey Guys,

I was hoping some of you might be able to help me. Im looking for some aerosol paint to touch up some minor flaws in the bodywork on the bike im fixing up for my dad but i cant figure out what the paint colors or codes actually were for this bike. I did a search on the site and google and can only find paint colors for the '86. If anyone knows what the factory blue, red, and white colors were called and paint codes for them id really appreciate it! Also if you know a source to buy such paint in the form of a can or touch up pen. Thanks in advance guys!

I do believe the colors on the 86 were exactly the same, only the scheme/order of the colors was different.

I think this is correct for the blue paint scheme. One website has the 84 blue labeled: Candy Aleutian Blue (PB127) with Fighting Red (R134) and Shasta White (NH138). The 86 is labeled the same. The 84 red paint scheme is Candy Alamoana Red (R-124C-U) with Black and Shasta White.

Hey guys. Yes the 86 is the same. I work at a honda shop and checked on the codes. I can still get small touch up brushes and pens of paint in these colors. If you want bigger, Motorcycle Paint :: Touch Up, Aerosol & Refinish Paint - ColorRite has what you need but it's expensive. I need to buy all three of the same colors, but it's over $100 a pint for the stuff! If anyone is in WI and wants to split the cost, I'll go in on getting some of these paints. Otherwise i'll let you know what NAPA comes up with. My cuz owns 3 NAPA's and thinks he can match these codes almost dead on for 1/3 the price.
