Ok been reading this forum for the past month, so it is all YOUR fault (atleast it makes me feel better to believe this)! Reading about all the praise of the VFR and it's ability as a true all around ride. So, I went today to purchase a VFR. Am really torn between the RWB and Maroon '07s. So I am leaning towards the Maroon and put a deposit on the bike. The only problem is my helmet is an Arai (Randy Blue) and looks so good next to the RWB.

So do I go with the helmet or go with my like of Maroon (first bike I ever had was Honda with Maroon - mid 70s) and tell my Arai to get over it? Guess I could always get an Arai in Randy Red......then my current Arai would be irate.

Have the dealer throw in a helmet. Lots of guys have scored deals on gear on leftover bikes. The dealers just want to get rid of them.

I lust over the RWB (my first biek was an '85 RWB 500 interceptor). But that maroon is beautiful too. I just like the RWB for old times sake personally.

I'd say you can't go wrong either way, D@mn I wish I had your problems...maroon or RWB....

I really like the maroon....with that said, my 4 year old and 6 year old love the RWB. Hope that helps!:thumbsup:

Now why didn't I think of that ..... then I would have trouble deciding which to ride. Guess I would have to take both for rides daily. This is getting better all the time.

I'd go with the red, white and blue but that is what my bike's colors are. ask the dealer to throw one in. keep your old one as a backup.

I got a Shoei RF900 in wine red, coz it fit nice, weighed less, good vents, and the single colours were going out much cheaper than the stickered designs.

Then Honda brought out the '06 VFR in Candy Glory Red, matching my helm perfectly, and so I knew which bike I must buy

Now I need a new lid, but it seems Shoei dont want to bring the new RF1000 to Australia in wine red :( So I have replaced the '06 with a G4 in easier to match flat red ;)

Maybe if you buy two helmets they will throw in a bike. My question would be, how about the rest of your wardrobe? Maybe you can get some really big mirrors too.
