So I snagged a pair of GenMar risers off of eBay this week, and installed them last night. I went for a little 30 mile ride to try them out. Man, these things are nice! I can't believe I went as long as I did without them.

But, a funny thing happened when I went to park the bike. When the forks go fully to the left, the windshield/fairing taps the kill switch with JUST enough force to set it to OFF. If I had one or two MILLIMETERS of extra clearance, I'd be fine, but every time the wheel goes fully to the left, *bump*, bike's dead.

I already made sure that the bars are pulled in, away from the windshield, as much as the "locator slot" in the tripples will allow.

Has anyone else encountered this? I'm thinking that the best solution is the "ghetto" solution... I'll probably file 2 or 3mm off of my kill swtich.

mine bumps the high/low beam switch if it is on low ...but slightly and not a a big problem.....maybe you could have the risers slightly shortened at a machine shop,
