    Hi All,

My little machine shop is continually growing and I've been keeping busy building new stuff I dont need for my 6th Gen. What I'm wondering is there a market for my little contraption? If I could get around 10 people interested in these for ~$100 then I'd be willing to build them. One nice thing is that it installs in the steerer tube so it should work in all Gen's with slight modifications.

Below are a couple of photos of my prototype unit. On the lower left I have a plug for my Autocom cord and will be adding a couple of LED lit rocker switches just above it.

All aluminum construction, TIG welded together. My next version will have the ability to adjust the angle that GPS sits on due to differences in screens. I could also vary the size of the GPS mounting plate as a custom option to suit.

    Thoughts? Comments? Ideas?

Ya, more details to come, I'm just sending out feelers. A lot of guys use ram mounts on the top tak bolts but it looks pretty ghetto IMHO and likely costs ~$60.

    More to come.

I have been tinkering with a few things myself and building proto types. Just not sure I like the stem mount, seems to block alot of the view of gauges from the ones I have seen. But would like to see some more of what you got too...

My current incarnation blocks 0.0% of the guages. The second prototype is more adjustable and still blocks none of the guages. I'll try to get some pics up soon of both.

The pic above is taken from where my eyes would be while riding.

    GPSMAP 60Cx

What are the chances of this being able to hold a Handheld unit such as the GPSMAP 60Cx?

I have a 1993 VFR750F and was just recently checking out the handlebar setup to see if the motorcycle mount commonly available for my unit would work. Unfortunately it does not appear that it would be an easy fit. I am now looking for a really nice Tank Bag that I would be able to place my GPS Unit in as appose to mounting it.

What does the dash area look like on your '93?
