There are pics of the RC51, for whatever reason they're farther down the page, you need to scroll down.

Drewl, meant to tell you earlier, nice sticker you have there on your windscreen!

    RC-51 lmao

"this bike is a v twin which should reduce insurance a lot over a 4 cyl"

hmm, yeah ok, you pay for the first year then. It's still a race replica bike and ridiculous for insurance.

not so fast... My 999S is $426 a year to insure, an R1 is $2300 for me... same license, same record... adding the VFR to the policy was $124

different bikes have different records, always call ins co before considering a bike, you may be in for a suprise

Progressive quote with one speeding violation is over $2500 a year for an 05 rvt1000 for me. But I'm in the high risk age group at 22. For my father(age 67) with the same record it's $800 and change, with no violations $600 and change. Ridiculous.

YMMV from THE BIKE YEAR, Model, Engine size, state to state, age, credit rating, etc. Generally anything designated as supersport or a racing replica is ridiculously priced insurance wise with progressive. Some other companies have different policies so it pays to shop around locally especially. But this was just a rough ball park.

BTW for comparison, the VFR is $550 a year for me with decent coverage(not bare minimum, and not highest deductibles).
