I'm in riverside right by the 91/60 interchange so intercepting (HA!) anyone at anytime is no problem, just give me a location and what time you'll be there and you'll see me.

 

Hey guys. Anyone have a link to Weather Networks that show a 10 - 14 day forcast for Western USA? I have seached around to no avail. I would like to know if I need to install a defroster on my bike for the trip.

The only area's you really need to check for on that route is the Grants Pass Oregon, & the Yreka/Shasta area, they usually have somewhat the same forecast, here's what I came up with...

Thanks RW. That is exactly what I was looking for. I have one for Canada that I use almost as much as this site but just couldn't put my finger on one for the States.. I sorta chuckle when I look at your signature block considering the trip I am about to make. I know you had a different meaning to the word degrees though. Think I will make mine say "Life begins at 32 degrees"

so here is the sucky part, still trying to get the bike done..... have run into problems with the Fing DMV.... they want me to pay all back fees and penalties on the bike.... probably a few parking tickets as well( kidding about the parking tickets) hopefull I can talk them down at the local level...... but I am still planning on coming. I might just be able to drive support.... pick up those that fall behind deliver a few gallons of gas.............. hopefully I can swing it......

Crusty..............whose mood really hates the DMV and all that it stands for. whowishes that it would just explode in a firey ball of hot chicken wings with extra hot hot hot sauce.

I love how my bike is coming together. Just got both my tank bags mounted today (I bought 2 sizes. 1 for touring 1 for commuting). Now I need to get my new brake pads in, then I'll be totally ready once modification #2 is done!

Just picked up the Gerbings pant liners. Insloes should be here in a week or so. Some 1/2 pipe to make a bracket to keep the new Cortech bags from resting against the pipes. Lgn001 made some that he shared with me and they look real good so I am going to follow his lead. Getting excited. Not to the point of peeing yet but I am dribbling.

 

One farkle delivered, 2 to go.
