As I searched through the galleries, I found a bike in particular that peaked my interest. Hope he doesn't mind me posting these.

Love this look. I really wish my bike was black, but its not, its safety yellow.

I am wondering if anyone has a photo of the 5th gen VFR with tinted tail lights and/or tinted front turn signals.

I am getting a tank bra, and a smoke front windshield, and thought some smoked front and rear lamps would compliment the bike nicely, but after searching the internet thoroughly, I have yet to find a picture.

Covering up your headlights/taillights/turn signals, with any kind of tint, cover, or anything that obscures them, just makes you less visible to others.....and could make you a liability in an accident. "officer, I could not see his taillight/turn signals because they are tinted." The objective is to be as visible as possible, that is why it is my policy to run my highbeams during the daylight hours.

I already have brighter bulbs ready. But I appreciate the concern.

I cannot remember the product name but there is a spray on (aerosol paint style) tint which I've purchased in the past through NAPA stores, sprays on very evenly and the finished product is awesome looking. It is specifically for tail and turn lenses.

Don't know if clear works for you. I would like to go this route one day.

I appreciate it. The clear is 100% than stock, at least the turns are. I'm not 100% on the tails....

That black one with the black/polished lips is ill! I wish they made those tails for the 6th gens. It seems kinda ridiculous, its only been out for 7 years. I guess I'll have to wait untill the 7th gen comes out before I can get a tail for my 6th gen...

Stuke's advise is right on the money. Even if you put brighter bulbs in, one may argue that you have deliberately diminished the optimum light output by applying a film, be it spray on or plastic film. I would love to apply a smoked film to the lights on my pearl white. I think it would look absolutely nasty. The aformentioned point is the only reason I don't. But you decide what works for you, and what risk you are prepared to accept. Post up if you change. VFRWorld wants to know.
