Okay. So i laid it down. The good news is my leg and arm took most of the damage.

This is what's shagged....Middle Right Fairing, Lower Right Fairing, Upper Right Fairing. It's a 1996 VFR 750F.

The Plan? Make her just like new. I've already ordered the new OEM parts from Honda. But I'm getting a little stressed and this is where I need your help...

Removing the Middle and Lower Fairings were no sweat. In order to remove the entire upper fairing, I THINK I also need to remove the Right Middle Fairing, but I'm not sure.

Also, to the right and left of the inside of the windscreen there are 2 grey inner plastic cover cowls. They have 4 screws each that hold the windscreen to the fairing. The lower 2 screws come out fine but on each one the upper 2 screws just spin and spin and spin and spin and they refuse to come out. What do I do?

So, the mirrors are off, the right side-middle fairing is off. The headlight and side blinkers are disconnected. The little plastic fasteners that hold the Upper fairing to the Inner fairing (behind the front wheel) are unfastened.

Anyone out there have any advice for me? I've got the parts, I've got the motivation, but this Honda is like a jigsaw puzzle and I need a little sage advice from someone who has been there...

Also, I've checked the subframe and the Main Cowl Stay for damage. No damage to the forks or any framing. Even my pegs are fine. I'm lucky the only damage is to the fairings... and my body. If I can only remove the upper middle fairing I'de be ready to cry for more help when I put it all back together.

    I fixed it.

I finally got the Upper Fairing off and it wasn't a big deal in the end. Now I just to dismantle it and replace the Upper Right and Center sections and transplant the headlights and other inner parts.

Heh....glad you got it figured out. Let's see some photos once you get it put back together.
I certainly know how you feel though....I dropped my 95 VFR recently. I'm trying to decide on the "fix or replace" for my upper left and middle left fairings...they are only scratched, and not that bad. Where did you buy your OEM stuff?
