87 vfr rear foot pegs

i have an 1987 vfr and i need rear foot pegs badly and cannot find any is there any suggestions

 

the options faced are make um or modify existing it seems

although totally custom is easy for any competent machine shop
just measure the width of the original mount points and have them turn a round piece maybe
knurled and have the end milled down for 2 flat sides and drilled, then maybe rounded or spiked on the other end that's the make em route
umm maybe i should make em


i was thinking personally of making or finding rearsets and modifying to fit
you would need a pull type shifter i think or flip shifter arms on a rearset
and almost certainly brackets for em if u went the rear set route

You can buy anodized ones on eBay for around $30.

Type in interceptor foot pegs

 

TRY a salvage yard for original pieces, and get the springs and detent balls too.

 

I might have a set if the previous offer doesn't work out. I'm in the hospital today but should be out tomorrow and I can check then if you need them let me know shouldn't be but like $7 shipping max I'd think.
