Is this going to be louder???

    I don't know if it will sound "better", but it probably will sound louder, as there is no collector to baffle the sound.

    I dont know if will sound better maybe badder, my question is will an 86 exhaust fit an 85 or 84 vf at all?

    When I got my 84 700f it had an exhaust from a second gen. It fit pretty well but the previous owner did have to modify where it attached to the collector. The 1"-2" that slides over the collector where the clamp is had been cut off and rewelded to make the angle correct. It actually sounded pretty good and not too loud. The only reason I took it off is I found some yoshimura slip-ons.
