Pickerel. A fresh water fish cought in abundance in the lakes and rivers of Ontario, Manitba and Saskatchewan. Also abundant in many north central States but commonly known there as Walleye. Damned fine eat'n too.

 

Eh, you want "Pickerel", I've got a freezer full, trade ya for some of that Salmon you've got out there Randy. BTW , we got 12 inches of "shit" last nite, gave me a good excuse to use my ATV and plow all the "MILF's' out of the snow banks though, they were very thankful:wink::wink:

 

Yes. The wild Sockey or Coho are very nice but I still say there is none better than Pickerel. That is to die for. I caught a master angler last visit to the Peg. Unfortunately it fell out of my hands and started bleeding at the gills so I had to keep it instead of throwing it back to spawn again. I lived in Campbell River for 9 years. Salmon Capitol of the World. Had the boat, gear and all that stuff. Considered myself the world's most successful conservationist when it came time to catch salmon. In other words, I couldn't catch jack shit. Caught a lot of Shark though.

 

46 yo, married 16 years and blessed with 2 lovely daughters, 15 and 10. been riding since jan 2008 after a sabbatical of 16 yrs! 1st bike was an '86 vfr400; '92 vfr750 was my first ride after my 16 yr "retirement" which i sold and regret up to today; currently, an '02 vfr800.

 

haha that it does, but not quite yet.... "Little Johnny" has not been born yet!

 

Telling you, you should have a hospital bed retrofitted on top of your bike, that way you and your son can say he was born riding!

got engaged, sometime later proved infertility specialist wrong by getting knocked up and (so far) having a perfectly healthy baby!

will be married soon as we've been discussing doing so earlier than originally planned for the kid's sake

 

oh, I've also stopped working for now.... been going into the office on occasion but not doin any 9-5 schedule

Wow it looks like overall Im a fairly young VFR rider.

I'm 25 years old, was with my wife for 9 years and we just got married in October. We are expecting a little one in about 6 months.

 

32, wife of 3 years, first baby expected in June. Military for 6 years.

 

My ETS is October 3rd and I will be leaving the military as well (6 yr term)

congratulations man. ride while you can because when the baby comes, you'll probably have less time. i quit riding for 16 years after my 1st daughter was born. :smile:
