Hi, I have been riding for one year and I have just purchased my second bike which is a 2004 VFR Interceptor. I live in Lynnwood, Wa. Ken98043
I love the hard bags. I think they look great, and they make the bike so practical. I did 6,000 miles of touring last year (two 3,000 mile trips), and the bike was awesome. I do really like the Sargent seat and the ST screen for long trips. I also like the helibars, but I think I would be fine without them (but not without the seat!).
Yes, it is taller, and I find it to be considerably quieter than the stock screen. (I'm 5'9".) I like the way the stock screen looks, so for most of my riding I leave it on, but I swap it for the ST when I am touring. It takes no more than ten minutes to swap the screen out.
Nice, welcome to the world of VFRs ha and I see you're a PNWestner too cool. PS: now order up your decals:wink:
