Pics of sargent seat with silver welt?

I'm looking at the Sargent seat for my Silver VFR - 03, but would like to order it to match my bike color.
Does anyone have one with the silver welt they could share some pics of? or know of any pics online that show the color?? All the pics on Sargent's site show red and one with yellow. They have an option for silver that I'd like to see before ordering.

I have the sargent seat with the silver welt and can tell you that it matches because I have an 03' as well. I am at work right now or I would post a pic of it for you. I will do so tomorrow if nobody beats me to it!!

Can you get a small passenger backrest for the Sargeant?

 

Sargeant used to have on available but not anymore... not enough sales. So to answer your question, no:wink: I have been looking for one and have had no luck. I am just going to have to go with the Givi trunk with the backrest pad for my wife. Probably not until next year though... cost to much!

 

I know Corbin makes one but I hear mixed reviews about the company/product.

The lack of comfort I experience with the VFR seat could also come from my skinny butt.:biggrin: Maybe I should gain more weight....
My previous ride's seat ('87 Radian) felt better on long runs.

I never heard anything bad about Corbin, In fact if your seat isn't to your liking, send it back with a letter where it needs improvement & they'll fix it for you.
Also if you own a Corbin & you go to a event where they have a vender booth, they will fix it right there "NO CHARGE".

I've had it a little better, because I had been out to Laguna Seca (AMA Races) & just putted a little up to there factory & they fitted & adjusted the seat right there for me on many occassions on different bikes (harleys, SM, Dual Sports & my sport bikes). Have had 2 sargents & they don't come close to the comfort zone that my corbins have.

Some time this Summer I will be stopping by there to have my '06 Triumph Sprint ST's seat done.:first:

You can't go wrong with the Sargent Seat, what a difference it makes!!!! It seems to be more comfortable then the Corbin I had before; it might be the atomic foam Sargent uses. Kenji

 

great thread, going to order one as well my boney arse cant take that stock seat any more. silver welt looks great on black! JSZR2 if you could post a picture of your silver bike with sagent seat that would be great was going to go all black but silver welt might look good

I debated back and forth between Sargent and Corbin because I wanted a backrest for my son, but so many people that have had both prefer the Sargent so I went with a Sargent for the cheaper price and will save the money for a Givi trunk w/backrest. I just got mine and haven't ridden with it yet (also put on Heli-bars) so I am hoping my hip issue will be resolved.
