niagra falls ride

I'm in. I live in Erie year round, and I rarely take the time to go see the falls.

 

I'm definitely in for this ride. I really wanted to make the one last summer but unfortunately it was on July 27th which is also my anniversary. I thought a ride down and around Niagra Falls would be a romantic way to spend the day but she had other plans. :crazy: So as long as its not the same day I'm in. Sunday/Monday are best for me.

Official date may 30. everyone every bike more than welcome. Ill be riding sat and sunday. maybe another day depending on how the wife feels.

If you want to do a south side ride how far south or how much time does the ones interested want to use? I can show some really nice roads south of the falls (Northern Pennsylvania) that would take around 1 1/2 hours to get to. So we would need to start a little early and could get you back by dusk if we did this after June when we have more sun shine.

 

Hi, Joe! I'm about 100 km (60mls)from Niagra Falls (Mississauga, Ont), so I can be there at no time. You saying 1-1.5 ride to Pensylvania that's fine with me. And coming back at dark it's not e problem as well. If we do it on the weekend, we can go there Saturday and do canadian side next day. What do you think?

 

De Viffer I have family in Erie PA, that I havn't seen for a long time. Any nice roads for riding there?

 

T-t-tagging this thread. I'm planning on riding up that way in August! I'm interested in the route. I'll be going from Pitt to Buffalo to Niagara thru Canada over to Detroit.

 

You can count me in for May 30. After working 72 hour weeks for three months that would be a nice break. From just east of Cleveland so if any riders want to hook up on the way let me know via PM.

 

Instead of staying at a hotel overnight, how do yall feel about camping? I can arrange to have a grill and do some grillin.

 

Interested. Hate crossing US to CA border but can do it.

 

Camping sunds good to me. More stuff to carry , but that's OK. Might be more fun.

 

Not interested in camping. Will Probably just get a room but looking forward to the ride. Who's getting this thing together? Or is it more of a wing it deal?

 

I am putting it together. tho I wont be able to go myself. Sorry I haven't posted many plans yet. Iv been busy. still have plenty of time tho.

I think I would like it to start at the flying saucer restaurant. I hear its nice with lots of parking and popular among riders.

 

That sounds good. I know we have plenty of time but I hadn't heard anything and was just curious. I hope I'm off this shift by then, looking forward to going on a nice ride.

 

THE Buffalo riders----Squirrelman, Sibex, JoeFoe, Al, Porky--are all in with it.

 

I dont think ima have enough money to put a new piston in my bike.
