    Another new guy poking around.
Currently ride a TLR and SV 650. I found a beautiful 86 1000R for sale near me that got me thinking about these bikes again.
I'm trying to work out a deal on the old girl, but not sure what's going to happen. Either way, thought I'd register and look around.
    These are my current bikes

Welcome to the site. Nice bikes!

If you have any questions, lots of good people here with a wealth of knowledge. Good luck on the deal.

Post some pics when you bring her home!

Welcome aboard, Ryno. I bet a VF or VFR would make an excellent stable mate for your current rides.

    Thanks guys.
I'm affraid the TL would have to go to make room for the Honda.
Can't justify three bikes in this economy.

sup Ryno, im down in RI. The VFR is a great bike. I am heading towards two rides as well, one for Loudon and one for the street. The VFR is a terrific street machine and I think a CBR600RR will do the track. Having to choose which bike will be the second is not a bad problem to have!!! Good luck!

Welcome to the forum. I hope the deal on the '86 1000R pans out for you. As you know, they are very rare bikes - especially to be found in good condition. I'm partial to the bike myself. Let us know how it goes and I look forward to seeing pictures.
