Well after listening to a lot of sound clips I decided It was time to take the plunge and order an exhaust.
I was very close to ordering Micron Carbon Fibers but was left uneasy with the transaction as I heard they are no longer in business.
So I ordered the Devil Racer Series in Carbon Fiber and the removable DB-killers. They should be here next week so I will post before and after pics along with sound files when they arrive:biggrin:

The Devils sound great. I've heard a couple of clips and they look and sound great. I would have went with the Racers too. They are actually louder than the Magnums (and a bit smaller too).

I was going to buy the CF Devil Racers, but my overseas transaction wouldn't go through. After weeks of trying to put together a transaction between my bank and the Devil company, we never got it figured out. Devil said it was my bank that was the problem, and my bank told me it was Devil that caused the problem. A big mess.

So I bought the Micron CF instead. This, of course, was about a year before they decided to stop production of their motorcycle exhausts. Oh well. I love my Microns anyway. They give the V4 that low, deep roar when accelerating. Couldn't be happier.

Am looking forward to seeing how those Racers look and sound on your bike. Do you have Motad or catless headers too? That would sound really bad ass.

No Headers as of yet, maybe over the summer (Motads). I am trying not to invest too much into aftermarket Mods as I am looking into getting a 5th Gen for a second bike, that one would get most of the goodies, and I will set up the 2008 for the Wife and I to take trips on.
Next investment will be a Corbin Gunfighter with the Backrest.

If you've recently acquired a VFR, why in the would you first spend any left-over money on a set of cans when you could instead spend it on upgrades that are far more functional and practical?

Haven't heard them on a VFR before but know Devils to be well made and imported from France, make sure you post a sound clip.

    Okay,

Ordered the Devil Racers and was told that the last one was sold and they were not making them for my bike anymore:mad: So I contacted some guy from Devil and expressed my feelings with them, so they agreed to manufacture a set for me:biggrin:

They shipped from France on Tuesday and were delivered to my house in NJ today. I spent all of an hour putting them on this AM and am very happy with the way they look and sound.
I recieved great customer service from Devil and would highly recommend them. Surely if you want a set of Racers instead of oval Magnums they will probably accomodate you.
Next is my CW Fender Eliminator which should be here monday.

No kidding.....what were you thinking:crazy:? I would recomend spending money on things like Slick 50 and Engine Oil Bypass systems instead of wasting your money in order to hear one of the most glorious sounds on earth (a V4 at full song )

    Very Happy with my Purchase
Definately Made a huge difference in sound and a little more HP.
I did not realize that they came standard with some sort of Baffle in them so today I took those out and now it is even louder:biggrin:.

Here is Video with the Stock Baffles out...

great choice! another mod would be o2 eliminators if you would like a smoother on/off throttle transition and overall smoother bike. or snorkel and flapper mods if you want a little more sound.

any ways the pipes look and sound great, about how much money did they run you if you don't mind me asking?
