I have an 86' VFR and i love cranking it over into the corners. My foot scrapes first then tha braket on the bottom of my exhaust(which i try to avoid) so what scrapes on your VFR??

my pegs scrape hardest (the feelers) then the center stand. If the center stand drags.... the rider is going to be the next thing to hit the ground. This is why my center stand is coming off before the next track day...

I have never scraped, unless you count the side cover when I dropped it.

    pipes

My pipes when I hit bumps laid over. Dislike it more than words can say. Thought it was cool when I was younger but not so much now.

My peg feelers used to drag first but I took them off. Not sure what will drag first now but that center stand makes me nervous.

it used to be hard bits that scraped first, but now it's my knee and then I back off. I kind of use the knee as a gauge to say 'hey take it easy kemosabe'

If you are riding correctly, nothing should scrape. As others have commented, start working on body positioning to keep you from leaning to the point of the bike hitting the ground. Nothing scrapes on my bike when I ride & I use my 00 VFR to teach sport bike classes.

    KC-10 FE out...
