New Member Looking for Givi/Staintune solution

Greetings: I'm a long-time rider from Albuquerque - Just bought and fell in love with a '98 Interceptor with Staintune high pipe. Have 3 Givi bags on a Triumph Tiger and want to find a way to mount them on the VFR. Local Honda shop said the givi brackets won't work with that pipe. Anyone know how to maintain both the pipe and bags? (maybe spacers, a little bending or something with the available givi mounts?)

I have a 2001 that I wanted to put three Givi bags on. It wasn't easy, but wasn't that hard either. You have to buy the top rack and tubular side racks, and use some spacers on the exhaust side. You might be able to get the wingrack to work with a little modification - I know it will work for Two Brothers, and not for Micron. Check this thread out where it is all discussed:

Hi Romeo and welcome to the group. You might try contacting both Givi and Staintune as well to see what they have to say about the combo.

 

SW-Motech makes a removeable rack for the VFR, that will carry Givi cases. Maybe this rack would fit over the pipe?
