Hello I have a 2004 Interceptor. I just got some Cortec soft saddle bags and went to put them on my bike and they rest right on the exhaust. Its just the back part of the bags that hit the exhaust. Has any one tried these bags on a 2002 or up VFR? Please let me know. Im thinking I may have to return them and save up for some hard bags.

    Thanks

Not sure, I have read that guys have used them on your underseat exhaust model, as long as the stock exhaust is being used because they have the heat shields on the side. I was looking at saddlebags for my bike, but I am afraid that the bottom would rest on my highrise pipe. I have just settled for a tank bag and my backpack.

Hey im944 Thanks for getting back with me. I will be installing Arrow exhaust this weekend. So I will have to get the hard bags.

No problem. Did some research on that myself when I was looking for a new bike. Yeah, you will definitely have to go with hardbags now. You will have to post a picture when you get that Arrow exhaust on there. I don't believe that I have seen that brand on one of the new VFRs.
