I already posted this but think I posted in the wrong area so here goes.

Trying to install new barnett clutch set in my bike. The problem is that when I put the clutch basket cover on and try to put in the springs there is a gap between the basket cover and friction plate. I put 9 friction plated and 8 steels in.

Also noticed ever since I removed the old clutch the clutch lever will not pull in anymore... So am I missing something, is the clutch not disengaged?

I could of sworn the clutch lever pulled in fine before with the bike off.

Not sure what is going on....
