What size chain does the 1998 take. My sprockets are fine, but my chain has cancer. Everything is original on my bike, just need a replacement. Thanks

    Hey Zona!
Stock is a 530. Typical chains and sprockets need to be changed at the same time, but I think you already know this.

    Good luck,

I know the chain and sprocket should be changed together, but the sprockets are fine; the teeth are still the correct shape and thickness. I guess I washed my bike a few too many times and didn't blow the water off the chain = cancer.

Again, just wanted to know what size. The sprockets are fine - the external drive is not worn out, the chain just got cancer(rust).

    Is it 530, 108 links??
