Well I have got this itch that I think I need to add another bike to my garage. Still paying for the VFR (192 a month).

My girlfriend game me the options (but my idea) that either I get the 1500 for my daughter from her tax return (she got it all last year) or I still get 500 and she co-signs on a loan (bike).

    I am possibly looking at a 954RR (blue/black). 5400 dollors, 5200 miles (2003).
I don't know about insurance yet. I want something a little more fun to play with, or I could be thinking I need something I don't when I have something good already.

So I was thinking my other option (also not needed, but wanted) is get a small loan and do everything I can find to improve my VFR that has not already been done. The pro's on that are I don't have to worry about increasing my insurance buy more then double im sure with the 954rr. I also get to add more toys to my current toy. Instead of starting out with something that is stock (but faster im sure).

So what do you guys think? All mighty VFRworld point me in the right direction. As you can see below all I really have left is suspension, brakes and chain/sprockets. Which all these things combined can add up but might be worth having it all done and over with.

I would love to add a full on CBR1000RR to my garage. It would be for local blasts mostly on the home court twistys. I have bumed a couple rides on one and after around 110 miles, I'm whipped. (can u say twist it?) The vfr I do the same roads damn near equality as fast, but then I can push for another 300 miles. So priority wise, I dumped bucks in the viffer, but the sportbike is still on the wish list.

    Confuse u enuff?

    It's here in South Dakota.

I don't know if I will be picking it up, insurance more then doubles for the year, from 325 to just over a grand.

I would like an RC51, but I think the insurance would be even worse. Plus seems hard to find, not any around here anyways.

I second the vote for the Triumph Daytona 675. Either that or a Ducati 848.

    KC-10 FE out...

helping your daughter should always come first:thumbsup: if I understood that statement correctly. but a conservative thing with money would be pay off current bike first, then fix it up accordingly, then save for the next bike if the need or want still exists. sounds like an impulse buy which are always dangerous but your vfr sounds like it is almost completed as you would like it to be. Its your money and your decision just my 2 cents..

$5400 for an 2003 sounds a little steep to me.
