Called the wife from work today and told her......That was....um....interesting. She said we can talk face to face. Wonder what she has in mind.

So it has gone from 70-30 for going to 90-10 for going. She just doesn't want me riding that far with the back and neck issues. But we will be doing SF on my way back. Yeeeeehaaaaw Ucktum Boogie-woogie Chicken SHould I bring my juice harp?

As for rout(w)s We must hit Rossi's... I mean Reggie's Driveway again. Heading to the Penny Bar works for me as well. Maybe we can top our last high speed record...

I will prolly ride in on Fri and leave Sun, but maybe Thur like last time.
Unlike last time, I will not be dumping my bike at the end of Reg's driveway.

You guys suck......anyone know where I can rent a VFR? I don't think I want to make the trip form central Ohio.....

 

There is a place in San Fran that rents 'em. It is only a few hours up the road from Reg's.

 

If the missus is still having a hard time you can always use the "absence makes the heart fonder" line.

 

I got a grunt from my wife when I mentioned it. She has never really complained about my trips.

Me too Long, I figured I'd meet up with Nardy and whomever else in LA somewhere and we would hook up with you guys as you're riding up.

 

I will likely be leaving here Wednesday to arrive sometime Friday. I will spoon with someone. Stuke, the cat, Reg's nextdoor neighbours french poodle. Hell, you got wild bears there? I am easy. Prolly motel it nearby. Reg. You got a motel within walking distance or will a taxi be in order?

I will be slabbing it down the I5 most the way. Can anyone give me some idea as to what I may expect in the highter elevations of Washington and Oregon. The only think I will be concerned about is snow and ice. I have the gear for everything else. Anyone heading down from north that I may meet up with?

I almost tried this place once. They always seem to have the newest models for rental and the prices aren't too bad.

 

Wow! That is expensive. about 4 times the price of renting a midsized car. Hell even the Yamaha C3 is a "C" note a day.
