New to the forums and just wanted to say hi!

I just sold my 92 ninja zx600r the other day and picked of a 97 theft recovery vfr 750 for $1,300 and trying to get it back on the road. Needs a new clutch and some fairing work.

Anything I should know about this particular year as far as problems?

 

Regulator/Rectifier failure is a pretty common issue

Can anyone suggest a good place to get a clutch kit besides ebay?. Ebay had a full kit for $150 but would prefer to go through a store of some sort.

 

Well I got the clutches out to take a look at how bad they were....


So they are just a tad toasted, got a Barnett set on the way, then I will at least be able to test drive the bike.

Now I am just in the process of trying to find the rear signals, pain in the ass to find for some reason.

Yeah thanks for the help with the parts, kinda sad to see a bike with such low miles so beat up. Honestly, before I got this bike I was looking at F3 CBR's and how much parts availability it had and am surprised how hard it is to find parts for this one. I thought I would be able to get a complete fairing kit for 3-4 hundred.
